Social Studies
A Social Study helps provide information about a family to assist the Court in reaching a decision which will be in the best interest of the child (children). This evaluation is an objective assessment of the needs of the children and helps the Court in determining appropriate legal and physical custody and access.
Social Studies are typically assigned by the Court or by mutual agreement of the attorneys involved. In addition to disputed Social Studies, Adoption Studies are also provided.

Divorce Consultation
When divorce is a certainty, consultation is available to examine the effects of divorce on children and their families. The examination of alternatives and options for custody and visitation can be pursued in a nonjudgmental atmosphere.
